What's My Name?
He likes doing things.
And then in his accusing voice
He reads from story books for kids,
Or 'who is this?', he'll say to them
He explains that owning elves
The least that they could do, he thinks,
But no, scrap that. He remembers now.
It can and does his fingers hurt.
He tries it all again with 'bizz',
He sighs and says, "That's that, I s'pose,"
But even if he knew his name
Someone else who has a beard.
Walking down the street he meets
After going home again,
And suddenly it dawns on him.
All is well. He knows his name.

The Cat in the Lighthouse
This peculiar cat sits in that particular lighthouse.
And it likes to think it's better than the house with the light,
And the cat also thinks that it has four legs,
The lighthouse thinks of itself as an 'it',
Although in the end it was manned by a woman.

Someone once dared me to grow a moustache.
I said that maybe I'd done something wrong,
The book said that ants might be causing the colour.
So I set about killing all ants in the house.
This kept me busy for most of a week.
I know that this story's already been told,
(Yeah, slight confession about all that.

It'a a Mad, Mad World
Life is loud and fast these days.
No one now will say they know.
And things that screech or howl or sting.
God be with those days of yore.
The opposite of the one you are.
But that would probably get annoying.
It's not that bad not knowing what
Like just last week, while on a walk,
Far away from anyone.
Was stand right there and stare ahead,
The sound of owls and other birds
Oh yeah, that's right. I forgot again.
When something happened. I don't know how.
