Thursday, January 26, 2006A-Hunting We Will Go
A-hunting we will go.
Hunting all day long,
"Give me back my tea spoon..."
Stupid, stupid fox.
Silly, silly duck.
The dogs lead us to a goat.
The undergrowth is dense.
People hunt a yellow bird
Or maybe one, but no more.
This type of hunt is the right thing.
They let us have a go. Thursday, January 19, 2006The Painting
Adam and Heather
The eyes and the body
"I told you not to trust
Adam says he told her so
"Keep the bloody ring.
"Is this about the chalk?" he says.
"I'm sorry I told your friends
She takes the ring and puts it on. Thursday, January 12, 2006Joe's New Job
Stealing things is what I do.
I used to be an actor.
I played the part of a thief
It seemed like so much fun.
'In' I am now clued.
Or I will do very soon.
My neighbours all seem fine.
Damn, why did I say that?
I've already left behind a clue, Damn! Thursday, January 05, 2006Running 'Round
Up for work, another day.
I think the cow is standing still,
Work all day. Running 'round.
Hello you.
Going home, so on and on.
Nearly there now, won't be long.
That's okay.
Rushing dinner, walk the dog.
Running 'round and 'round all day,
A little time at home. |
